Following the celebration of his 40th year as a Columbia artist in 2007 and coinciding with his induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in March 2008, Leonard Cohen thrilled his fans by announcing his first tour dates in 15 years. One dozen of Leonard Cohen’s most famous songs from those recent world tour performances are now collected on this double 180 Gram audiophile LP pressing.

LEONARD COHEN LIVE AT THE ISLE OF WIGHT 1970
Over 40 summers ago on August 31, 1970, 35-year-old Leonard Cohen went onstage to perform with his band at the third annual Isle Of Wight music festival. The audience of 600,000 stood in awe as the Canadian folksinger-songwriter-poet-novelist quietly tamed the crowd. This double LP contains the entire performance. Included are live versions of classic songs from the first two Leonard Cohen LPs as well as spoken word and poetry.
