Reyaz Nadi is an established New York City based painter. Nadi has experimented extensively with modern painting techniques and technology for the last 35 years. Nadi’s vast experience with materials combined with his process oriented technique has proved highly effective at connecting viewers with the subjects of his pieces.
A rock and roll enthusiast, Nadi has created hundreds of portraits inspired by musicians and bands such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, amongst others. Nadi recently received national attention for a 50 piece collection of paintings inspired by Michael Jackson, which was released following Jackson's death in 2009.
Nadi studied at The Pratt Institute in New York City. Nadi’s body of work includes paintings as well as architectural projects, sculptures, and silkscreen prints. One of Nadi's most notable architectural projects was a park design submitted for the rebuilding of Ground Zero in New York City.
Nadi lives in Port Washington, NY with his wife and 2 daughters.
