JMSDF RESCUE FLYING BOAT US 2 20TH ANV MODEL KIT

The US-2 is Japan's world-class high-performance amphibian.

To commemorate 20 years since the first flight of the prototype "US-1A Kai", Aoshima's "US-2" from the 1/144 aircraft series becomes available in a limited edition.

In addition, as a luxurious bonus, a badge (9cm x 9cm) with the "US-2 20th Anniversary of Flight Commemorative Logo Mark (in cooperation with ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd.)" manufactured by "navy gear 4U," which has a proven track record in delivering products to the U.S. military and Air Self-Defense Force, is included.

The kit can be built from three types: "US-2", "US-1A Kai Prototype 1", and "US-1A Kai Prototype 2". The main landing gear and flaps can be selected between "in level flight specification" and "in takeoff/landing specification," and a pedestal is included to reproduce the "in level flight specification."
