As a masterpiece that was released as a garage kit during the release of the 1996 Daiei (now KADOKAWA) movie "Gamera 2 Legion Attack" and shocked fans, the 20cm soft vinyl kit "Gamera 1996" by Yuji Sakai's prototype continues to be supported today.

This prototype was thoroughly interviewed by Mr. Sakai himself at the time and perfectly reproduced every detail of the costume used for the shoot.

We aimed to reproduce the characteristics of the prototype as faithfully as possible by converting the prototype at that time into digital data using the latest 3D scanning method = CT scanning, expanding the original prototype size from 190 mm to 320 mm, and then directly creating a mold by burning out the 3D printer output, and producing only the original mold without using a duped mass production mold. As a result, the deformation and shrinkage seen in soft vinyl products due to the orthodox lost wax manufacturing method are minimized.

Of course, the coloring was also completely supervised by Mr. Sakai. Instead of the conventional process of painting by flow work, we succeeded in mass production with a quality that looked as if it had been finished by hand by a painter. Instead of the mechanical finish seen in previous mass professional products, you can enjoy a finish like a one-off work.
