With his ability to control cold temperatures and ice in various ways, the ninja in blue and black attire is ready to fight and play, holding a classic frozen joystick in his right hand and ready to throw an ice ball with his left. The temperature drops as tensions rise when one of the most famous characters from Mortal Kombat gets his stylized Toy Art version with the “Sub-Zero - Mortal Kombat - MiniCo” statue, facing his rival Scorpion, also released in the MiniCo format by Iron Studios, both original characters that have been featured in every version of the Mortal Kombat games.

In the franchise’s storyline, two men have taken on the identity of Sub-Zero. The first was Bi-Han, a major rival of Scorpion and responsible for his death. The second is his brother, Kuai Liang. Both are members of the Lin Kuei, a Chinese ninja clan from Outworld. During the tournament, Bi-Han was killed by a vengeful Scorpion and resurrected as a ninja specter. The cycle of vengeance continues when Kuai Liang, who also controls the cold element, takes his brother’s place as the second Sub-Zero to eliminate Scorpion.
