JGSDF Type 06-Ⅲ Tank Roku, a high-spec, full action model from the Nacchin universe, is joining Kotobukiya’s plastic model kit lineup!

JGSDF Type 06-Ⅲ Tank Roku is created by the robot designer Moi, who is active on social media. Originally made as a predecessor to Nacchin, Roku comes to life with the latest design specs under the thorough supervision of the designer!

【Story】

Year 2090.

Not long after the rapid development of AI, the line between humans and machines was almost indistinguishable and technology to predict the future was taken for granted.

The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) was the first to equip the new Type 07-Ⅲ Autonomous Tank with a highly accurate future prediction AI.

While most people shied away from this technology and its near-human-level personality and communication skills, Captain Natsuki Kukuri nicknames her own unit “Nacchin” and treats it as an equal member of her team.

One day, while Natsuki and Nacchin are on duty, a sudden incident occurs that changes the world. What they once knew had been altered and fractured, resulting in the strange world they now find themselves in.

These two’s consciousnesses overlap in multiple universes, resulting in different identities.

The Type 06-Ⅲ Autonomous Tank, otherwise known as Roku, is currently the most widely operated and deployed autonomous tank.

【Settings】

Of all the generations of autonomous tanks, Roku remains one of the longest operated models, and currently is deployed all throughout the country.

The Type-06 composite heat-resistant armor is lighter than previous generations, reducing the power consumption of the hydrogen battery, and resulting in the longest operation time ever recorded.

Using a manipulator with three claws on the arm parts, this model can also now perform detailed work that was not possible previously, distinguishing it from past models of autonomous tanks.

The multi-joints all over the body can be used to equip Roku with various devices so it can take on any situation.

Model Specifications:

• The design uses the original designer Moi’s new CAD data. Type 06 Tank Roku is brought to life while preserving the atmosphere of the story illustration.
• This model is a high-spec, full action model kit with 60 points of articulation.
• The kit includes WEAPON UNIT04 MACHINE GUN & MISSILE LAUNCHER (discontinued) in the Nacchin color scheme. Roku can hold the weapon by using the included weapon grip adapter parts.
• The model is equipped with 12 3mm connection points, allowing users to freely customize the unit with separately sold M.S.G and other parts.
• Like Nacchin, this model was designed with future developments in mind, allowing the hatch on the head to be opened and closed like in the story.

*The cockpit seat and pilot are not recreated on this model.

• The kit includes both an articulated and a deployed, fixed outrigger for the heel.
• By deploying the new rear outrigger, the model becomes more stabilized and can stand independently.
• The contact display (looking forward) is pre-painted. The runners of this kit come in three colors, making it easy to assemble the model in its original color scheme with no painting required.
• The kit includes four additional contact display (blank) parts which can be affixed with the included decals to create a variety of expressions.
• The kit includes two universal grip parts equipped with 3mm joints. These parts can be used with a wide range of parts, including M.S.G.
• The point for 3mm connection joints on the bottom of the model is compatible with the included Nacchin base or the separately sold New Flying Base.
