This commemorative collector's edition box set celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Jethro Tull's seminal 1971 album Aqualung. Now, 40 years after its release, this prized recording gets a collection worthy of its historic status.

Aqualung was the 1971 album that catapulted Jethro Tull to stardom in the US as it reached #7 on the Billboard album chart and sold millions. Generally considered the pinnacle of the band's recorded output, front-man Ian Anderson's songwriting was quickly evolving from British folk-blues roots and helping define prog-rock.

The limited collector's edition includes: 180g heavyweight LP, 2CD, DVD and Blu-Ray including various unreleased materials; a new stereo mix, the original Quad mix, 5.1 DTS and Dolby Digital Surround; 12" x 12" 48-page hardback book featuring liner notes and an interview with Ian, Q&A with engineer John Burns, memoirs from band members and Jennie Franks (Ian's first wife who wrote the lyrics for the title track), rare photos and notes on the new mixes by producer Steven Wilson and much more.
