A true cult horror icon, Syngenor is the bio-engineered creature created by writer/director William Malone for the 1980 film Scared to Death. Malone, a notable sculptor for Don Post Studios, later released a version of the creature as a mask in the 1980s — gaining it notoriety among mask collectors and horror enthusiasts. A 1990s sequel titled Syngenor cemented the creature’s cult status.

This retro-style collectible comes packaged in a VHS-inspired collector’s box with a magnetic flip front, complete with a cassette-shaped blister tray for that authentic rental store throwback feel. A must-have for fans of deep-cut horror and retro collectibles!

Alex grew up with a love for action figures, comics and 80’s horror films and aspired to one day work in one of these industries. This would eventually lead him to pursue a degree in studio art where he would study painting and sculpture and discover an interest in sculpting portraits for masks and sixth scale toys. Alex has since sculpted portraits for several sixth-scale action figures and his work can be found in many private collections.
