About Avatar: The Last Airbender

The world is divided into four nations. The Water Tribe, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation and the Air Nomads, each represented by a natural element for which they're named. The series is centered around the journey of 12-year-old Aang, the current Avatar and last survivor of his nation. Produced by Nickelodeon and co-created with Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, Avatar: The Last Airbender was originally released in February of 2005.
